Sharing spaces for artists’ offices, work and gallery is the objective of ArtCoLab. The creative artists’ laboratory opens in time for ArtWalk this Friday at 108 N. Fourth St. The space previously housed Dangerous Dog (eatery).

The showcase will feature the fields of graphic design, illustration, web design and development, photographers and video professionals. Artist-based clothes, toys and supplies will come to the retail part of the store this summer.

First occupants are Scott Lakey of Born Invincible Design and Jeremy Deming of Jerm Design. Lackey, the owner, graduated from Lake City High School and the Art Institutes of Design in Seattle and Los Angeles and worked in California, Oregon and Idaho.

Studio-office hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and gallery hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. daily. Space is available for three more creative professionals. Phone 691-0153. Check www.artcolab.com.
